Score 92+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Deep, saturated red. Reticent but superripe aromas of black raspberry, violet and licorice; slightly jammy character. Large-scaled, dense and sweet; really stuffed with fruit. Very long, subtle finishing flavor. Tannins are substantial but sweet, and thoroughly enrobed by fruit. May ultimately merit a higher score.
