Cask sample. Deepish crimson, scented, more guts than the Clos St-Jacques. Pretty impressive but probably too pretty for the price. Long. (JR)

Bright red. Reduced nose shows strong game, leather, mineral, coffee and smoky notes. Very smooth but quite closed; offers lovely vinosity but shows less texture and dimension today than the Clos Saint-Jacques. Best today on the finish, which features sweet, fine tannins and very good grip.
