Tasting notes
Maison Le Moine’s 2002 Montrachet is exceptional. Its spice and cafe creme-laden nose leads to an ample, broad, medium-bodied character. Fabulous layers of spices, minerals, vanilla, and ginger can be found in its elegant, intricate, and detailed character. Mounir Saouma attributes this complex wine’s shockingly long finish to the fact that it required six months to complete its malolactic fermentation. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2018.
