Score 91/100 · Drink 2014-2024, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Apr 2014
The 2003 Saint Joseph is still a youthful and lively 2003 that gives up perfumed kirsch, incense, olive, Christmas spice and hints of game in its medium to full-bodied, silky and impressively balanced personality. Making the most of the vintage, with sweet fruit and a ripe, yet lively and fresh feel, it’s drinking nicely now and should continue to shine for another decade as well. While the Gonon brothers get a lot of recognition for their classically-styled Saint Joseph red, their white is also superb and ages beautifully.
