Tasting notes
Saturated red. Vibrant raspberry and cherry preserve aromas, with a complex array of peppery spice and herbal qualities building in the glass. Deeply flavored but fresh, offering sweet red and dark berry flavors and a strong trail of licorice on the finish. This needs highly seasoned food.

Deep ruby. Spicy red and dark berry scents accented by minerals and cracked pepper. Fresh, tangy and elegant, with bright raspberry and redcurrant flavors lifted by a strong peppery element. This very suave, supple wine finishes with impressive freshness and energy, not to mention length on the aftertaste.
From Les Saveaux and Chaillots. Very blackish crimson. Extraordinarily ripe – one has the sense that this is a wine that has reached some new extreme. Yet without the heat of alcohol on the palate – really quite a masterstroke. Lovely constitution because there is great freshness here too. I can only imagine what the Cornas Vieilles Vignes is like.
