Tasting notes
From the first tasting, this wine has possessed all of the earmarks of one of the vintage's stars, as well as a sleeper. A saturated blue/purple color is followed by sumptuous aromas of blackberry/blueberry jam. This medium-bodied St.-Emilion offers rich, multi-layered flavors in an elegant yet authoritatively rich style. Some tannin needs to be resolved, but there is gorgeous purity, a sweet mid-palate, and fine length in this stunning offering. A rich, well-balanced effort, it can be drunk now and over the next 12-14 years.
