Tasting notes
Dee p red. Very ripe, slightly medicinal aromas of black cherry and menthol. Dense, plush and sweet, with distinctly blacker flavors of cherry, mocha, spice and garrigue, and a suggestion of roasted herbs typical to Bonnes-Mares. This finishes with lovely fleshiness, fine tannins and excellent sweetness and length.

A muscular, masculine offering, the 2002 Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers displays a nose of violets and black fruits. Medium-bodied, concentrated, deep, and structured, it exhibits black cherry, blackberry, cassis, and notes of charred oak. Projected maturity: 2005-2011. Importer: A Peter Vezan Selection, Paris fax #011-33-1-42-55-42-93; JAO WINE IMPORTS McLean, Va 703 848 2473
Medium-deep red. Sexy, sappy aromas of briary raspberry, blood orange and mocha. A step up in sweetness and texture from the Haut-Doix (this vineyard is on the Morey border), with more exotic, full-blown flavors of red berries, mocha and spices. Fleshy, superripe and sensual, and showing very well already.
