Score 95/100 · Robert Parker, Oct 1994

Tasted 4 Times With Consistent Notes The 1953 is a seductive, voluptuously-textured, gloriously-fragrant and fruity claret that has admirably stood the test of time. Undoubtedly fragile from a regular bottling (as most 1953s tend to be), purchasers should consider larger format bottles as I am sure it would be superb.
