Score 88/100 · Drink 2015-2021, Robert Parker, Jun 2015
This generally consistent property has produced a blend of 52% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The 2005 is a delicious, sexy style of wine with loads of plum and black cherry fruit, low acidity, a round, juicy, succulent personalty, excellent purity and a medium-bodied texture. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.

Very dark crimson. Extremely little on the nose. Very full and opulent – spicy and quite alcoholic. A bit of beef extract. Rather painfully exaggerated to taste. Tough finish. (JR)
