Good medium red-ruby. Nuanced, bright aromas of red- and blackcurrant, minerals and flowers. Firm and nicely delineated, with flavors of black fruits, minerals and earth. Finishes with fine tannins and good chocolatey length.
Cask sample. Intense, bright crimson, like all these reds. Sweet kirsch-like flavours with a little oak still. Pretty flashy and impressive though the oak may just be too marked. (JR)
