Tasted blind. Mid crimson. Zesty, appetising nose. Fresh fruit is allowed to express itself here! Well balanced with good drive. Long. (JR)

From proprietress Annabelle Cruse-Bardinet, this dense ruby/purple-colored St.-Emilion offers sweet black cherry and cassis fruit, spring flowers and well-integrated oak, acidity and tannin. Medium-bodied, pure and impressively endowed in an elegant yet authoritative style, this sleeper of the vintage should drink well for 5-8 years.

Deep inky crimson. Shy on the nose. Very dry but more fluid than the Corbin-Despagne. Dry finish, pretty tough, and I don't think waiting longer will help much. (JH)
