Full gold. Fully mature aromas of ripe apricot, toffee and hazelnut. Surprisingly firm and vibrant on entry, then fine-grained, slightly creamy and dry in the middle palate, with stone fruit, orange pith and smoky mineral flavors accented by a hint of bitters. This classically dry mid-weight Meursault offers good texture and finishes with a note of apricot. I suspect this wine is on its downslope but it's still a satisfying glass of Meursault.

Rather closed nose hints at smoke, earth, bacon, minerals and spices. Quite powerful on the attack, then shows lovely purity of fruit and perfectly integrated acidity. Dense with extract but not at all heavy. Finishes with great length.
