Bitter cherries on the nose. Light, dry and lively. Not especially generous. Needs to open out a bit. Maybe I have opened it too early. (JR)

Mossy and deep on the nose – more 'serious' and tannic than the Meursault Rouge. Very rich and racy. Textured but pure. (JR)

The 2010 Bourgogne is laced with attractive lemon, pears, white stone fruits and flowers. It shows excellent freshness and drive, not to mention considerable depth, at this level.
