Score 94/100 · Drink 2025-2035, Angus Hughson, Vinous, Nov 2022
This glorious 2003 Shiraz Viognier is drinking beautifully but has retained its composure and promises to drink well for some time. Aromatic and open-knit, there is a wonderful array of white pepper, dark cherry, earth and old spice aromas. It then delivers a rich vein of plush primary fruit supported by mouth-coating tannins, which underpin a long, meaty finish—a benchmark vintage.
