Score 85/100 · Drink 2000-2005, Robert Parker, Apr 2000
This pleasant, soft, moderately-endowed effort displays sweet berry fruit, Provencal herbs, and earth in its aromas and flavors. The wine lacks density, but it does not try to be more than it is. Medium-bodied, soft, and not excessively extracted, this delicate Margaux can be drunk over the next 4-5 years.

du Tertre
Until recently owned by the Albada Jelgersma family (along with Giscours), Ch. du Tertre is one of the oldest estates in the region – with a history stretching back 1,000 years. Classified as a Fifth Growth, its 54 hectares of vines sit on high gravel outcrops in Margaux.
