Tasting notes
Score 85/100 · Drink 1990, Robert Parker, Jan 1998

A classically proportioned wine of power and balance, the 1981 L'Arrosee is one of the better wines of St.-Emilion. Medium dark ruby, with an intense perfume of ripe black cherries and spicy oak, this medium-bodied wine has surprising power for the vintage, good tannin, and a moderately long finish. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 3/90.
