Ripe perfumed dark fruit and a slight caramel note giving an impression of sweetness on the nose, followed by dark spice. Dry but very fine tannins and an elegant cool finish. Fine-grained and nicely balanced. (JH)
Looks quite evolved at the rim. Lots of gravely influence on the nose. Round and easy but slightly simplistic. St Estèphe? Chewy and a relative lightweight. Very correct though. (JR)
Tart acids are accompanied by hints of cranberries, sweet and sour cherries, flowers, and wet rocks. Medium-bodied, vibrant, zesty, and light, this finesse-styled wine can be consumed over the next 7-10 years.
