Tasting notes
(85% tempranillo and 15% syrah) Deep ruby. Sexy aromas of black raspberry and cherry, with hints of cracked pepper, dried rose and minerals. Very sweet and open-knit, showing supple but lively red berry character in the mouth. Finishes sappy and long, with gentle tannins that will not get in the way of drinking this wine now. But I have no doubt that it will age well.

The 2007 Mauro is composed of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Syrah. Purple-colored with an alluring nose of smoke, pencil lead, mineral, violets, and black cherry, on the palate it reveals an elegant personality, layered sweet fruit, good balance, and 1-2 years of aging potential. . Enjoy this tasty offering from 2012 to 2022. Located just outside the border of Ribera del Duero, Bodegas Mauro must settle for the more generic DO of Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y Leon.
