Tasting notes
This shows a beautiful length with blueberry and mineral character. Full body, with fine tannins and a delicious finish. Fresh and cool. Well-done for the vintage. Precise. jamessuckling.com

The Lucia has a lifted nose of crème de cassis and crushed violet that is very pure, hedonistic but well defined. The palate is underpinned by saturated tannins and has good depth. Frankly, it is not my style of wine, although I find it balanced, cleanly made with a succulent peppery finish. Neal Martin, eRobertParker.com
A brilliant garagiste St.-Emilion, the 2011 Lucia reveals an opaque blue/purple color as well as a sweet, sumptuous perfume of spring flowers, graphite, blueberry and black raspberry liqueur, medium to full-bodied flavors, no hard edges and a round, lush, textured finish. An outstanding effort that transcends the vintage, it should drink well for 10-12+ years.Drink: 2014 - 2026. Wine Advocate #212 Apr 2014
