Tasting notes
Score 87-89/100 · Drink 2003-2012, Robert Parker, Apr 2002

As is typical of many 2000 northern Rhones, Faurie's 2000 Hermitage is a fat, succulent, ripe, low acid effort with plenty of fruit, but a lack of definition, grip, and intensity. It offers beautiful black currant fruit intermixed with mineral and melted asphalt notes. However, there is an absence of definition and depth. Anticipated maturity: 2003-2012.
