In April 1991, I had the opportunity to taste (from a friend's cellar in Bordeaux) the 1928. The wine had been purchased in the thirties and kept in a cold Bordeaux cellar until this tasting. The wine was disappointing (some elegance but attenuated and short as well as the only Lafite ever pasteurized).
