Rich and almost chocolatey plush fruit. There is fullness on the palate and elegant weight, perfectly correct posture, everything you would expect from Pomerol but with a Lalande price tag. And all the necessary ageing has been done on your behalf. You can have your cake and eat it. (TC)

Score 90/100 · Drink 2014-2022, Robert Parker, Apr 2014
A big-time sleeper of the vintage from proprietor Silvio Denz, this sensational 2011 transcends the vintage as well as the reputation of the appellation. It exhibits a dense ruby/purple color along with plenty of chocolaty berry fruit and a plump, full-bodied, opulent, layered style. This is about as good as a Lalande de Pomerol can be. Drink it over the next 6-8 years.
