Medium red. Aromas of black fruits, licorice and leather. Juicy, silky and pliant, with moderate depth, sweetness and nuance. Showing some nutty oak today but could use a bit more personality. Finishes with slightly drying tannins.

(picked first, with 13.2% potential alcohol) Medium red. Very ripe aromas of dark raspberry, clove and minerals. Spicy dark fruit and mineral flavors are nicely framed by juicy acidity. This has the stuffing to buffer its tannins and finishes with a firm backbone. The pH is high here, but solid minerality gives the wine good energy.
