Tasting notes
Since its debut vintage, Christian Canute’s Cabernet Sauvignon has been one of Australia’s finest. His 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Boundaries (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is reminiscent of Colgin Cabernet from California. Its extraordinarily pure bouquet of blueberry, creme de cassis, graphite, smoke, mint, and high quality toasty oak is accompanied by great fruit, stature, and richness in the mouth as well as a long, full-bodied finish that lasts for 45+ seconds. Although still young and precocious, this beauty should evolve for 10-15 years. Importer: Dan Philips, The Grateful Palate, Oxnard, CA; tel. (888) 472-5283

Some green notes, then very, very sweet and overdone. Out of balance. (JR)
