Bright red-ruby. Exhilarating aromas of red fruits, lead pencil, tobacco, rose petal, licorice and tarry oak. Dense, rich and suave, with classic cabernet flavors of currant, bitter cherry, minerals, pepper and tobacco, complemented by mellow oak tones. Wonderfully ripe, broad and rich in extract, yet it conveys virtually no impression of thickness or weight thanks to perfectly integrated acidity. Builds impressively on the back half, finishing with very fine tannins and terrific verve and length. Extremely young and built for long life. .
