Deep vigorous crimson. Sweet, spicy oak and very gorgeous polish. Amazing intensity. Round fruit but bone dry on the finish in the usual JP Moueix style. Impressive. Lots of very fine tannins. (JR)

Aromas of sandalwood, blueberries and light spices follow through to the medium body, with good acidity and a delicate finish. James Suckling, Wine Spektator, 2009
