Tasting notes
The 2020 La Sirene de Giscours is especially polished and refined, offering up aromas of blackberries, cassis, violets and burning embers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, suave and seamless palate. It will drink well on release.

The second wine of this terrific estate is the 2020 La Sirène De Giscours, which checks in as 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot. It's a balanced, medium-bodied, elegant Margaux with pretty cassis and darker berry fruits, some violet and spicy wood notes, soft tannins, and outstanding length. Drink this impeccably made, balanced second wine over the coming 10-12+ years.
The 2020 La Sirene de Giscours offers brambly blackberry and raspberry fruit on the nose. Touches of iris flower emerge with aeration, the 30% new oak neatly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly raw entry, gritty tannins, moderate depth with a briny finish. Just a bit rough around the edges.
