Vivid ruby. High-pitched, seductive aromas of strawberry preserves, Asian spices, smoke and anise, with a strong mineral overtone. Juicy, tight and youthfully imploded but minerally and strikingly intense, with zesty red berry and bitter cherry flavors and solid tannic spine. Showing more minerality than sweet fruit today, this is built to age. Finishes with excellent length and resonating spice and floral notes.
