Tasting notes
This is the producer’s 20th year working with SLH grapes (which started with Rosella’s), and the 2022 Pinot Noir is a worthy celebration, sourced from Garys’, Rosella’s, Sierra Mar, and Soberanes. Nuanced in black cherry, raspberry, and chaparral, which surrounds so many of the vineyards, the wine is medium-bodied and concentrated in soft layers of well-integrated oak, focused acidity, and supple tannin. It should age well another 10-12 years.
