Tasting notes
The 2019 Zinfandel Rattlesnake Ridge is deep ruby-purple in color and scented of blackcurrants, tar and graphite with a hint of apricot. Medium-bodied, the palate is grainy and approachable with mineral-laced black fruits and just enough freshness on the flavorful finish. 1,410 cases produced.

The 2019 Zinfandel Rattlesnake Ridge is inky, deep and beautifully layered in the glass. A heady concoction of blue/purplish fruit, lavender, spice, menthol and licorice infuse the 2019 with striking depth and dimension. Inky, savory and intensely mineral-driven, the Rattlesnake Ridge is a great example of Howell Mountain, especially in this vintage. Don't miss it. (AG)
