Bright ruby-red. A highly perfumed and complex bouquet evokes mineral-accented dried cherries, raspberry liqueur, garrigue and potpourri. Sweet, seamless and penetrating, offering sappy red and dark berry and succulent herb flavors that deepen as the wine opens up. Shows excellent depth as well as vivacity and finishes very long and smoky; sneaky tannins add shape and closing grip. This wine is the same as the Cuvée Reservée but it gets an extra two years in foudres .
