Tasting notes
Cask sample. Refined, elegant, a fine combination of succulent fruit, fine tannins, bright acidity and the class of Vosne. Not the most complex wine but this has an aristocratic edge. Expensive for what it offers though. (AWH)

Aromas of wild berries, plums, warm spices and loamy soil, framed by a deft touch of toasty new oak, introduce Méo's 2020 Vosne-Romanée Village, a medium to full-bodied, lively and concentrated wine that's bright and vibrant, built around powdery tannins and concluding with a penetrating finish.
The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Village has quite an understated bouquet with black cherries, violet and light crushed stone aromas. It demands a little encouragement from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, quite fleshy and smooth with a slightly candid finish. Fine.
