Tasting notes
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Jersey Boys Vineyard (700 cases) comes in at 14.9% alcohol. This is an opulent wine with plenty of blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, some graphite and subtle, spicy new oak. Full-bodied, savory and expansive, this extravagantly rich, long wine is terrific. Drink it over the next 15 or so years.

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Jersey Boys Vineyard emerges from the hillside parcels on the property. Inkier dark fruit, inky blue and black fruit, crème de cassis, spice, menthol and lavender are all pushed forward. This super-ripe, intense Cabernet Sauvignon has considerable inner sweetness, but the tannins are also forbidding.
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Jersey Boys Vineyard is round, supple and silky throughout. Exotic floral and spice overtones add intrigue as this dark, racy Cabernet Sauvignon shows off its irresistible personality. Hints of blackberry jam, cloves and smoke add nuance on the sweet, plush finish.
