Tasting notes
The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Village has a straightforward bouquet with yellow fruit, lime and white peach aromas, though I am looking for a little more terroir expression here. The palate is balanced with the 20% new oak nicely integrated (20% is also raised in stainless steel). Quite malic on the finish, this will be ready for drinking in 12 to 18 months.

Around 20% new oak. Ripe, creamy citrus with a suggestion of lees in a mealy richness. Generous fruit, chalky texture and a long, fresh finish. Deep and long, mouth-watering finish. Impressive village-level wine. (JH)
