Medium red. Aromas of strawberry jam, redcurrant, iron, mocha and coffee. Rich, fat and supple, with flavors of redcurrant and spices and considerable stuffing. Finishes suave and ripe, with substantial but fine tannins and very good length.

Full ruby-red. Pure aromas of black fruits, mint, licorice and bitter chocolate. Taut and tight, with primary flavors of dark berries, minerals and menthol. Quite tannic, even a bit youthfully tough, and in need of extended bottle aging.
