Score 98/100 · Drink 2026-2040, Jeb Dunnuck, Jan 2026
A killer effort from this great vintage for the Valley, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon offers up currants, spice, leafy tobacco, and cedar pencil on the nose. Checking in as the usual 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that spent 19 months in 60% new French oak, it's round, lush, and hedonistic on the palate, with fine tannins, no hard edges, and that open, seamless, sexy style of the vintage. Drink bottles over the coming 10-15 years or so. Drink 2026-2040.
