The 2012 Morlet Estate is a gorgeous, racy wine that captures the exuberance of the vintage. Rose petal, spice and dark raspberry jam are some of the notes that flesh out. The 2012 is bold, ripe and forward, yet it also retains striking freshness and nuance throughout. A closing blast of red cherry jam and pomegranate round out the finish. This modern, voluptuous St. Helena Cabernet will drink well for another 15-20 years.

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Morlet Estate is a gorgeous wine from Jodie and Luc Morlet's small hillside vineyard in St. Helena's Northern Corridor. Kirsch, sweet red cherry, mocha, espresso and rose petals are all beautifully delineated. Exotic floral overtones play off the opulent fruit nicely, while silky tannins pull it all together with gracious ease. This racy Cabernet Sauvignon is pure St. Helena and pure Morlet.
