Tasting notes
I loved the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Hershey Vineyard, and this site clearly did well in the vintage. Ripe red and black plums, tobacco smoke, chocolate, and sappy garrigue-like nuances all give way to a full-bodied Howell Mountain Cabernet that’s concentrated, has a balanced, layered mouthfeel, plenty of tannins, and a great finish. It’s going to evolve nicely for two decades.

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Hershey Vineyard is a dense, potent wine. There's quite a bit of textural volume and overall intensity here. That baby fat is going to need a few years to soften. Dark fruit, espresso, graphite, incense, licorice and bittersweet chocolate build in an imposing, deep Howell Mountain Cabernet. There's a ton of dynamic complexity and energy here.
