Tasting notes
Deutz' Millésime 2008 Amour de Deutz Rosé Brut shows a pale but brilliant salmon color and a clear, delicate bouquet of discreet red fruits as well as very fine spicy and floral notes. The palate is highly delicate and fresh, firmly structured and nicely dry, with good, dense, aromatic and well-structured length. However, the wine is still young and not yet perfectly round. Tasted from lot LA112D32216 in June 2018.

The 2008 Amour de Deutz Rosé (375ml) is another compelling wine in this range. A host of rose petal, chalk, white pepper and sweet red berry scents open up effortlessly in the glass. Precise and finely sculpted, the 2008 can be enjoyed now or cellared for at least a few years. Once again, the Deutz Rosés have an uncanny ability to deliver intensity and vinosity with no excess weight. The 375ml bottles will be sold as a boxed set along with the 2008 William Deutz and Amour de Deutz Rosé.
A floral, pretty-smelling Champagne that has aromas of honey-drizzled rose petals, strawberries and raspberries. The palate's super fine, building smooth and creamy with bright, young-strawberry-fruit flavors and cherries to close. Elegant and precise. Drink now. Oct 2016, www.jamessuckling.com
