Tasting notes
The 2012 Pinot Noir Le Moulin Rouge Pisoni Vineyard possesses black raspberry and blueberry fruit, a hint of rose petals, and a medium to full-bodied, luscious mouthfeel. It should drink nicely for 5-7 years.

Deep ruby. Vibrant dark berry, rose, white pepper and potpourri aromas show very good clarity and lift. Sweet, sappy and pliant, with a suave, silky texture to the deep black raspberry and cherry-cola flavors complicated by floral pastille and black pepper notes. Finishes with excellent clarity, lift and length, the sweet blackberry quality repeating. Morlet noted that working with this fruit, as opposed to the estate grapes, is "like playing a different instrument."
