(bottled in April of 2010): Medium red. Cool aromas of cherry liqueur and crushed stone. Sweet on entry, then focused and penetrating, with savory, saline soil tones currently dominating primary fruits. Finishes structured and long. Quite closed today and in need of four or five years of cellaring.

Good bright red. Currant, minerals, graphite and a whiff of menthol on the nose. At once dense and bright, with classic Vosne notes of dark berries and bitter chocolate. A very sappy, fresh village wine with a chewy texture, firm spine and noteworthy persistence.
