78% Shiraz, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon. Barossa Valley, Coonawarra, Eden Valley, McLaren Valley. No appellation on the label. Soft, jammy blackberry fruit, spice and black pepper. There’s a sweetness here but a lovely savoury character too, with an earthy bracken sort of note. Great persistence, lovely resolved tannins. Long, tingly finish. (RH)

Bright deep ruby. Port-like aromas of raspberry, coffee, chocolate, game and woodsmoke. Sweet, fleshy, very ripe flavors of black raspberry and minerals; smooth and intensely flavored. Finishes long, juicy, and slightly acidic, with chewy tannins.
