Score 15.5/20 · Drink 2015-2018, Tamlyn Currin, jancisrobinson.com, Nov 2015
Six months in new and used French oak. Screwcap. Quite an appealingly warm nose of blackberries and mocha – not complex, but immensely likeable. And the same story on the palate... A little bit chocolate-milky and thick textured, clumping around a nub of sharp purple fruit, although the tannins are soft as marshmallow. This is a plump made-to-please wine that has some varietal validity. (TC)
