Almost Bordeaux like given its structure and richness, the 2006 L'Aventure Côte-à-Côte exhibits impressive aromatics of cassis, blackberry, graphite and flowers that are supported by subtle oak nuances. It’s full bodied in the mouth with low acidity, rich, decadent fruit and a very long finish. This should age beautifully for 10 to 12 years.

Saturated ruby. Aromas of fresh red berries, anise and dried flowers. Sweet raspberry and candied cherry flavors are deep and rich (this is close to 16.5%) but surprisingly lively, with dusty tannins adding grip. A bright kick of smoky Indian spices adds energy to the long, juicy finish. (JR)
