Pale green-tinged yellow. Aromas of musky lemon pith and pear skin take on subtle chamomile, fennel and jasmine nuances as the wine unfolds. Juicy and tightly wound on the palate, offering Meyer lemon, Anjou pear and green almond flavors and a touch of sea salt that appears on the back half. At once concentrated and lithe, delivering strong closing thrust, resonating floral and mineral notes and very good persistence.

Named after the family who own the vineyard. Very early picked and released in January 2017. Big, broad impact on the nose with a real thread of green freshness running through it. Lots of acidity and not nearly ready. Positively Chablisien. (JR)
Cask sample from Larry Stone MS's debut vintage. The wine may end up having a more precise appellation. Very youthful pear juice nose with very crisp acidity and great precision. Stone fruit impression. Dominique Lafon is advising so it is currently spending four months in tank on the lees as insurance against premox. Extremely racy and promising. (JR)
