(15.6% alcohol) Medium bright red. Slightly high-toned, complex nose melds cherry, raspberry, incense, flowers and fruitcake, plus an exotic whiff of dried apricot. At once dense and juicy; like a fruit cocktail in the mouth. Not as lively on the end as in the mid-palate, but the lingering finish offers intriguing notes of currant, date, candied fig and quince paste.
