Wonderfully complex and fresh, with milk chocolate, currant and raspberry on the nose. Full-bodied, with supersilky tannins and a caressing texture. Some bright acidity with the fruit on the finish. Very, very pretty. Dense and balanced. Only improving in the bottle. Excellent second wine.¿'88/'98 Bordeaux blind retrospective (2008). Drink now. James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2009
