Tasting notes
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Townsend Vineyard is a dense, potent wine. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, new leather and copious French oak give the 2015 its opulent personality. This full-bodied red has aged well. It should drink well for another five to ten years, maybe more. Although very well made and in great shape for its age, it is lacking a bit in expression of place. Beyond that, it's hard to find much fault here.

Antica's flagship 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Townsend Vineyard is redolent of black cherry, smoke, graphite, leather, game and cloves. Pliant and dark, with a good bit of depth, the 2016 will drink well for at least another handful of years. This is an especially brooding, somber wine from Antica.
