Score 87/100 · Drink 2008, Robert Parker, Apr 1999
This excellent wine, made by Francois Mitjaville's son, is a potential sleeper of the vintage. It offers a dark ruby color, and sweet black cherry fruit intermixed with smoke, dried herbs, and toast. This round, generous, medium to full-bodied wine is already delicious; enjoy it over the next 7-8 years.
