Score 92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jul 2013
Full purple-tinged red-ruby. Nuanced, scented nose combines blackberry, blackcurrant, ink, graphite and a peppery note. Suave, juicy and complex, with harmonious acidity giving shape and freshness to the wine's concentrated dark plum, tobacco and mineral flavors. Finishes savory and minerally, with silky tannins, noteworthy freshness and lovely lingering perfume. (ID)
